JACK RUSSELL TERRIER

The Jack Russell Terrier originates from England. It was bred in the 19th century by a church warden named John "Jack" Russell.
The breed was originally bred to bolt foxes from their dens during hunts, and the desire was to create a small dog that was brave enough to go under ground and drive the fox out of the den. For this reason, the Jack Russell Terrier is very fearless and courageous.
Although the Jack Russell Terrier is an old breed, it is not long since it was approved by the International Dog Register FCI. From 2001 to today, the Jack Russell Terrier has become a popular breed because of its good temperament and playful mind.
Jack Russell Terrier is a big dog in a small body. It's a small but strong, active and highly intelligent working dog, with great self-esteem, lively movements and an intelligent expression. It is a versatile breed that can be used in various activities such as agility, hunting, bloodtracking, obedience, chantarelle search, but also good as `just` a walking buddy. The Jack Russell is alert and energetic, yet easy to train. It is also suitable as a family dog, and a very good pack member.
Jack Russell Terrier comes in three different fur variants. Smooth, broken and rough coated. Approved color variants are white/tan, white/black and tricolor.
